Highway Guardrail

Steel guardrail on divided highway installed by Collinson Inc.

Guardrails on highways serve several purposes. Firstly, they help visualize where the edges of roads are so drivers avoid crossing to the wrong side of the road. They also serve the purpose of redirecting speeding or out-of-control vehicles so they are less likely to speed into oncoming traffic. Finally, in the case that a car crashes into them, they are designed to reduce the damage to the car’s occupants so crashes are less lethal.

  2. We call on the good folks at Collinson, Inc. to provide us the quality guardrail and accessories anytime we have a parking lot or garage project that requires their materials. I speak to Pete Murphy each time, and he’s always spot on with recommendations to make sure we have everything we need. Thanks Collinson team!
